Safety tips for random chat
Random chat means meeting people you do not know. Most conversations are harmless, but you should always protect yourself.
Community rules
- 18+ only. If someone seems under 18, report them and leave.
- No nudity, sexual content, harassment, hate, threats or scams.
- No recording, screenshots or sharing of other people's video.
- No asking for money, gifts, passwords or private photos.
- Press Esc (or Next) any time to leave a chat.
- Violators are banned automatically after repeated reports.
Protect yourself
- Never share your full name, address, school, workplace, phone number or social accounts.
- Check what is visible behind you on camera: mail, photos, uniforms, windows.
- Use the Blur video button if something looks wrong, then press Next.
- Never send money or click links from a stranger. Anyone who threatens you or demands money is a scammer. Do not pay; end the chat, report them, and talk to someone you trust.
- If a chat makes you uncomfortable, press Next. You never owe a stranger a conversation.
Reporting
Use the Report button during a chat. Reports are logged, and users reported by several different people are automatically blocked for 24 hours, then longer for repeat offences. If you see child abuse material or someone in danger, also report it to local authorities (in India: cybercrime.gov.in or helpline 1930).
For parents
This site is for adults only. Parental control software can block random chat sites on your child's devices.
